2008-2009 Season
3/23/09 The Boys Varsity team finished up a very successful year competing at Regionals on March 7th, but still have 2 individual bowlers who will be representing PSHS and the Dallas NW District at the State Bowling Singles Championship Tournament being held this year at the Plano Super Bowl on Ave
K and Park this coming Sunday, March 29th.
The Wildcat Bowling team is well represented on the post season All District teams this year, with 3 team members being selected for First Team All District, another 3 selected for Second Team All District and 2 more selected for Honorable Mention. In addition to that, the 2008-09 Boys Bowler of the Year with the Highest Average in the District is a PSHS Junior and the High Series award went to a PSHS Senior. Congratulations to each of these Wildcat Bowlers for these well deserved honors!

3-2-09 Wildcat Bowling completed a fun and successful district season this past Saturday against McKinney Boyd HS. Both the JV Boys & Girls team retained their first place rankings with the Boys team going undefeated for the season!
The Girls Varsity team worked very hard, but came away one match short of making regionals this year. Boys Varsity finished up the season as District Champs and will represent PSHS for the 6th year in a row at Regionals on 3/7.
2-23-09 Wildcat Bowling team added wins across the board this past Saturday against Fairhill leaving the Boys teams in 1st place in District. The season wraps up this coming Saturday, Feb 28th, against McKinney Boyd HS beginning at
11:30am at the Plano Super Bowl on Ave K. Finish up strong Wildcats!
2-17-09 Wildcat Bowling Boys teams along with the Girls JV squad continue to dominate as they each retain their number one position in district play after defeating Plano West this past Saturday. The district season is winding up with only 2 matches remaining prior to Regionals. On Saturday, Feb 21st the Wildcat Bowlers take on Fairhill followed by the final district
competition taking place on Feb 28th against McKinney Boyd HS. Both
matches begin at 11:30am at the Plano Super Bowl on Ave K.
2-9-09 The Wildcat Bowlers started off the second half of the season against Plano East with all but the Varsity Girls notching wins in the victory column.
They followed that match up with a bye week practice match against Allen HS last Saturday (2/7/09). This week finds the Wildcat Bowlers up against cross town rivals, Plano West on Saturday, 2/14 at 11:30 am at the Plano
Super Bowl.
1-26-09 The Wildcat Bowlers had mixed success against McKinney Boyd this past week with all but the Varsity Girls taking victories home. At the half way point in the district season, the JV Girls and JV & Varsity Boys teams are all in
first place and the Varsity Girls are currently in 3rd place. The Wildcat Bowlers are up against a very strong Plano East team this coming Saturday, 1/31 at 11:30am at the Plano Super Bowl.
1-20-09 The Wildcat Bowlers added another point to their win column this past Saturday, Jan 17th by defeating Fairhill. Next up for the Wildcat Bowlers will be McKinney Boyd on Thursday, Jan 22nd at Strikz in Frisco.
1-12-09 After picking up wins across the board against Plano West last week, the Wildcat Bowling team is ready to match that success this coming Saturday, Jan 17th as they take on Fairhill. The competition begins at 11:30am at the Plano Super Bowl on Ave K just north of Park.
1-4-09 Congratulations to Andrew and Pete Mahre for winning the Vicky Rios Tournament held Saturday at PSB. There were 213 entries and Andrew and Pete took first place! Andrew won $1000.00 in scholarship money!!!
Also in the finals were Alex and Tony Schmieg. Alex won $200.00 for finishing 4th in the tournament. Way to go Cats!
