The Wildcat Bowling club consists of student athletes currently attending PSHS or one of the Central Cluster High Schools (Jasper and Vines) who have gone through a tryout process, normally held in October of each year, and who want to represent their school at bowling competitions. The Bowling Club fields both Varsity and JV Boys and Girls teams with each team normally carrying 8 players who compete in District matches as well as regional and state events. Although bowling is not yet sanctioned by the UIL, Wildcats Bowling club operates under UIL rules with strict adherence to attendance and grade maintenance policies. Team members are coached in proper techniques, bowling etiquette and scoring as well as equipment maintenance. District Play for the Wildcats Bowling Club begins in November of each year and extends thru February finishing off with Regional and State Tournament competitions in March.

The team has been highly successful qualifying for the Regional or State Tournament every year since the club was established and proud of a string of 4 straight State Tournament appearances in as many years.
